All Terrain’s mission is to help people live more active, healthier lives.. The company originated when a climber was hiking in Costa Rica and a bottle of DEET-based insect repellent he was carrying leaked. It ate through his backpack and melted the keys on a calculator he was carrying to figure out the exchange rate. After that experience, he came home, researched and developed the natural, yet effective, Herbal Armor™ Insect Repellent. From this humble beginning, All Terrain moved to Sunapee, New Hampshire and now offers more than 50 natural, effective products to help people live more actively.
I was given the chance to try out the children's line of All Terrain and I love the outdoors smell of it.
Herbal Armor Spray
Formulated for kid's more sensitive skin. 100% Deet-Free;only natural ingredients used. Clinically proven to be 100% effective for over 2 hours, 95.8effective for three hours and 77.1% effective for four hours. Unique formula w/five natural essential oils by the EPA as repellents.
We got a chance to test this out a tiny bit when the weather played a nasty trick and warmed up for a little bit, and it sure kept the bugs away. I can't wait to use it on the kids this summer, and know they won't be getting eaten up by bugs, and are also not being covered in chemicals.
Kids Lip Balm
Petroleum-Free and Paraben-Free. Lip balm with SPF 25 Z-Cote protection to help prevent burned or chapped lips. Contains 2 - .15 oz. lip balms. One Bubble Gum and one Cherry.
The girls really liked these, but they love Chap stick of any sort. I was happy that when they were outside their lips were protected from the sun,I can't say much for the texture, as the girls were not into sharing with me. It did clear up H's chapped lips in no time though.
Skin Soother Gel
Help relieve dry, chapped or cracked skin. Protects cuts, scrapes and burns.
This is something I would keep in a camper, for those accidents you just never know about, and I plan to include this anytime the kids go camping this summer, it really seems to Sooth the bumps and scrapes, from falling.
Kid's wonder wash
Gentle, all-purpose soap that's pH neutral. Biodegradable and concentrated.
We received the peppermint scent, and between Z's sensitive skin, and the smell We haven't tried this out at all, the scent is to strong for me, and gives me a headache every time I open the bottle.
Over all I really like the All Terrain line of products for kids. They also have products for adults that are free of Deet and Parabens. head on over and check them out for Your outdoor bug control needs this summer.
