Just B.You Toys Review

My kids are just like any other when it comes to loving toys, but mommy is a little more picky about what they get to play with one thing I can be sure of is the quality of B. toys they hold up well and provide hours of fun for all 3 of my kids.
Ms.L and Ms. H really enjoy playing with Pop- Arty

B Toys Pop Arty Pop Beads Jewelry Set

  • Snap-together jewelry
  • 500 pieces including 12 rings and 6 bracelets
  • Fun to make & wear
  • Beautiful fashion colors
  • Unique shapes & designs
  • Great for playdates & parties
  • Booklet filled with jewelry ideas included

they are little pieces, but the imagination my kids have they have made necklaces and bracelets, sashes and so much more. I love that they can play together and it allows then to really use the creativity I knew they had. When their done it all goes back into the container for storage. I can tell you this is a toy I wish they would have had a long time ago.
Pop-Arty is sold at Target and a great buy.   ( easters just around the corner, what a great idea for an easter basket.)

Mr. Z has been having a blast with
  • 4 chunky vehicles
  • Perfect for little hands
  • Car rings
  • Truck chimes
  • Racer rattles
  • Taxi squeaks
  • No batteries necessary. With these soft cars, you don’t really need tough ankles either.

they aren't the tiny matchbox cars that are so easy to use, but he still loves them. The fact they move on their own if you pull them back keeps his interest the longest of any car he owns. They are chunky enough that should he put them in his mouth , he won't choke but small enough he can carry them around all at once. I love the fact they don't wind up under my stove ... like some of his others. They zoom pretty far across our kitchen floor, but do tend to stick on carpet.

Available at Target as well I would totally recommend these to anyone with a toddler boy.

I still feel the need to tell you about some other awesome toys we would love to own...

Youniversity

This looks awesome and I know my kids love to play with these at the pediatrics office.
this would be a blast to play with the kids.  Marching and dancing

I could go on and on with the many hours I have spent looking around at all the different toys. Try it sometime it truly is fun.

I think the National Geographic Kids line of toys are awesome.
Teaching kids about animals while they have fun playing is a great idea, and my son love to stay busy. The Elephant Adventure Ride has helped keep him busy.

It's very nice the little boy figure has brown hair, so Mr.Z pretends it's him riding on the elephant and exploring the rain forest and jungles. The elephants canopy does come apart and Z loves to ask me to put it back together over and over, but It means even his independent play time still includes mommy sometimes.

The monkey on the side will slide down the vine on his own, and then you just turn him back up, this has been fun for all the kids. They made me teach them all about Elephants after this toy came.  Which made me beyond happy they asked to learn, sure different from the norm.

One lucky reader will win an Elephant Adventure of their own.

North Star Toys Review

When I was a small child back in the 80's toys were made to last, not all have bells and whistles or made noise but were still fun. I was please to learn North Star Toys still makes toys that are well made, colorful and still a lot of fun. They are wooden, but still work, and allow kids to really use their imaginations. They were kind enough to send us a few to try out.
Combine the brilliance of  the rainbow with a bus load of joyful kids, add plenty of learning opportunities, fun galore and that's our Rainbow People Mover.  With 10 passengers to arrange, count, and match by color, this is a charming, sturdy toy and the favorite of many.

This picture does quite due all the colors justice. It really is pretty, and the hours my son spends pushing it around pretending to drop the people off at places really make me smile. I know this is a toy that he will be able to hang on to as and maybe even share it with his own children someday.
Little Rollie Train Engine
This is cute, but also very tiny, It works perfectly with a lot of the racetracks, and train sets we already own. It fits in the my purse to take for play in the car, and also his pocket if my son wants to take a treasure with him.
Little Rollie Duck
This little duck is well made and also the same size as the train. It really rolls and on my Wood Laminate kitchen floor it actually rolls pretty far, but my favorite part is how easy it fits into a coat pocket, or the side of my diaper bag.

I know North Star Toys has been making toys since 1979 and I hope they continue to.

Monster Factory Review

Monster Factory
The Monster Factory is a character toy brand run by Adam Dunn, Rhya Tamasauskas, and Bliss Man. Together they design and create engaging monster characters who live in a strangely familiar world. Combining their backgrounds in film, art, and fashion, the creators have developed a strong sense of collaboration that affects every aspect of their process from storytelling to product design. Their efforts have produced countless monster characters who, despite their appearances, are just like you and me.

Colin Monster Logo

Colin divides his time between playing video games and fretting about his future.

I do think the Monster Factory Monsters are kind of strange looking, but also cute in a way. When Colin arrived at our house. my children to a liking to him right away. This made me wonder what their imaginations were dreaming up. When I showed them that Colin liked video games they decided when ever daddy plays his video games. I do think he makes the perfect size to take in the little diaper bags the girls like to carry around. Colin isn't the only monster you will find at the Monster Factory. Here are a few more

There are many more to see but how much fun would it be for me to show them all to you.

Little Kids Review

Little Kids, Inc.

My kids are much like most little kids in that if you give them a basic toy they let their imagination  take over, and some of the things they come up with are amazing. Little Kids Inc offers many products, but I think the most fun they have had in along time was with:
they have an interesting name but are a ton of fun.
With so many pieces they have the ability with a little help to make anything they wanted. Castles, cars, cookies, The ideas they have come up with are ... amazing. I did find that a large zip lock bag was much better at keeping the pieces together and out of the dogs nose ( the tiny Zots fit to well in her nostrils.)

They spend hours playing with them... not just once in a while. It is something quiet they can all do together that even my husband and I can join in on. It's great for arts and crafts time to... because they can make almost ANYTHING!!!!!

We also received
hockey-baseball

my son went crazy over this one... Mr.Z is only 2 but he's very into sports style things and with the chilly weather that means more in the house playing. I think this is a great idea, the idea to most parents would either annoy or worry them something could get broken. I find that although the balls do have a little bit of a punch  ( I've been hit with them) when shot out of the  unit. The plus side to this is, it will teach him the baseball skills for when he's older( mommy's hoping he will want to play baseball, but no forcing him), along with giving him something to do in the house.  Right now his coordination is better suited for the hockey portion though he's pretty good with that stick. Now to convince him the Christmas tree ornaments are not hockey balls,

hockey-baseball

I do consider these to be a great idea for kids, and maybe even an adult too.

WowWee Toys Lite Sprites Review

Lite Sprites live in Lite-Topia, an enchanted land that sparkles with color and light. With a Lite Wand, you can magically collect color from almost anywhere and share it with Lite Sprites and their world.

Everytime we turn on Nick Jr. I heard the commercial for LiteSprites, which prompted Ms.L to ask for one. It really is a neat idea.
Lite Sprites Lite Wand + Prisma and Pod
The games and pretend ideas that she comes up with make me more then happy to allow her to play with it. I know she has a ton of fun with the color changing and the fact Prisma comes with 10 built in colors, allows her to have Prisma change to any color she wants at any time. The ease of using the wand and changing the colors is a breeze for my 4 year old.  some of the great features of the wand are:

  • Magical color and light displays
  • Lite-Topia SFX and audio guidance
  • Select color from the built-in library and share it with Prisma and the rest of Lite-Topia
  • Capture color from your world and share it
  • Receive color from another Lite Wand
  • Play built-in color games: Color Hunt and Color Mix
  • Send spells to Sprites and playsets
  • Volume control

These help to make Prisma a great starter Lite Sprite or a great addition to a play set you already have. I can see Ms. L and Prisma having even more fun, she loves it so much really she has added
Tree of Lite
and
Brooke
to her holiday wish list. If you know her well enough you would know most toys don't keep Ms.L entertained for very long so I have to say this is a great toy to own.

Uncle Milton Toys Review

Uncle Milton

My kids like any other love toys, and as a parent I love toys that are not the same action figure or doll every company makes some version of so when I came across Uncle Milton Toys, it was very intriguing for me. I spent more time then I would like to admit looking over each and every toy and thinking how fun it would be to see them in action.
Take the  in my room collection:
Although this looks like something out of Starwars it actually makes a very cool design on your ceiling.

Or
my girls would love to have the

for the older kids in your life the Dinosaur train items:

or although it sounds gross to me...

Me and my kids were sent to try out the Fireworks in my room light show.

Now you can create an incredible fireworks show right in your room! Pump up the fireworks launcher, choose your firework, aim and pull the trigger. Watch as amazing firework light effects burst and expand on your walls! And with the booming sound effects it’s just like a real fireworks show!

After having this for a while I can say it is fun in the dark but all summer long my kids were often to warn out to stay up after dark. It doesn't sound quite like a real fireworks show but close. Enough so our dog goes nuts when ever they play with it, The light show is great though. It does look like real fireworks and is easy enough even my 2 year old can work it. The one thing I don't like about it is the pump feature it's kinda annoying to have to keep pumping it, although they did alleviate the need for batteries with this.

Hearthsong Silly Soft Seating Review and Giveaway

Since its beginning in 1983, HearthSong has been committed to helping parents follow their instincts to provide their children with age-appropriate, wholesome, quality playthings. That's because at HearthSong, we believe childhood is a vital chapter in life-a special time when children can be occupied with the joy of being children. And, equally importantly, a time when children need to experience as much creative, imaginative play as possible because kids experience so many of life's first lessons through play.

The first HearthSong catalog was printed in black and white, with pencil drawings of carefully selected toys and books and mailed from the home of founder Barbara Kane by her family. The name HearthSong was chosen to reflect core family values - the Hearth, a traditional symbol for the center of the home, and Song, a symbol of family spirit and of a special playfulness that parents and children enjoy together.

Over the next 25 years, HearthSong evolved into a nationally known and respected source for quality children's toys, games and crafts. Parents who found unique toys for their children decades ago tell us they're now thrilled to be finding the same kinds of educational, entertaining toys to give to their children's children.

Our selection of products has grown and expanded too. But we can still guarantee that each item is carefully selected for its quality, safety, and relevance to your child's development - and we are steadfast in our commitment to provide you with Toys You'll Feel Good About Giving®.

Dropper Bopper Review and Giveaway

About Dopper Bopper :

In August 2009 while completing his colligate studies Dale Robert Kilgore, Jr discovered creative inspiration in the most unlikely of places; a rain drop. Inspired by its simplistic elegance, Kilgore imagined a series of dynamic characters known as “The Dropper Boppers.”
With their conception came the formation of Dropper Bopper Ink; a  studio focusing on the creation of family friendly characters that provide lasting joy to all ages. Established in 2010 Dropper Bopper Ink launched the first character, Cool Drop within the Dropper Bopper series in February of 2011. Pretty Drop is the second character from the series to be released.

Plasma Car review

PlasmaCars
Plasma Car is made by a company called PlaSmart, and I wanted to share a little about them with you...
With distribution and marketing rights secured in North America, the Fun Car was renamed the PlasmaCar (a name borrowed by Kimber from the world of consumer electronics where the hottest "toy" for adults was the Plasma TV) and within a month PlaSmart Inc. was born.
With a line of innovative, time-honored toys that have become a staple in many homes as well as a team that strongly believes in the emphasis on product support and exceptional customer service, PlaSmart Inc. has secured its well-earned and admirable reputation in the Toy Industry around the world.PlaSmart is also very active in the community and often participates in auctions and fundraisers through its time and generous donations.
A Canadian-based distributor of children's toys, PlaSmart Inc. was introduced to the toy industry in 2003. With a vision that is honest and uncomplicated and an internal philosophy to under promise and over deliver, in a few short years PlaSmart Inc. expanded internationally with distribution on five continents and more than 60 countries.
Smart, simple toys. PlaSmart chooses products that are smart, simple, fun and unique and we avoid electronic toys and toys that are complicated to understand or operate. We continue to seek unique, one-of-a-kind toys that meet this smart and simple philosophy. In addition to our smart, simple toys philosophy, we have an internal belief of "under promising and over delivering" to our retail partners with regards to products. Although there is an expectation to continually introduce new products, we resist the pull to add items for the sake of showing retailers something new. We focus on delivering products that offer a unique value for retailers and their customers alike.
In 2009, with an astounding growth of 3702% within a 5 year period, PROFIT Magazine named PlaSmart Inc, the 13th Fastest-Growing Company in Canada in the annual PROFIT 100 ranking of Canada's fastest growing companies. And in 2010, they were named the 8th fastest growing company – representing and underscoring the significant increase in demand, both domestically and globally, for their award-winning line of unique products. And also "a testament to the dedication and work ethic, staff and our retail and supplier partners" says Tim Kimber, founder and CEO of PlaSmart Inc.
While strolling through an Ottawa shopping centre in early December 2002, Tim Kimber, then the owner of an ecommerce business selling high-end crystal figurines, happened upon a group of children test-driving an unknown ride-on vehicle, then called the Fun Car. Fascinated by the fact that this car did not require any batteries or pedals and was propelled by turning the steering wheel back and forth, Kimber located the seller of this unique item and began negotiating.
Now that you know a little about the company let me tell you how much fun we have had with our new Plasma Car. As soon as it arrived, I took it out and waited for my husband to arrive home from work to show him, and have him attach the wheels.  The wheels do go on easy but we keep the tools in the garage and I didn't want to take the kids out to the every unorganized garage that day. so He got him put it together which was super easy and quick and outside we went.
Now my children range in age from 2- 8 and my sister who is 15 happened to be here, so we all got a turn, I was amazed that the Plasma Car has such a high weight limit, but so thankful we could try it, because I would have hated to miss out on all the fun.
I am all for getting the kids outside to play, but get very annoyed at the fact that even with bikes, balls, bubbles, and sandbox and a swing set, by children never stop complaining until now that there was nothing to do... even my 4 year old will ride it around the garage while we take the dog out.
Plasma Car Red
It is so very easy to use, and the Plasma Car will also provide you child with hours of entertainment. It looked like so much fun even the teenagers that live next door came to join in the fun, and my husbands friend who showed up joined in to. I can already tell this may be something I will have to buy a couple more of so we can all play with out having to wait so long for a turn.
I can completely see why the Plasma Car has won so many awards, and had such great success . Would you like to try one of these very neat cars out for your self? then head on over to Here and find a store near you.
