Giani Granite Review and Giveaway US only Ends 7/18

If you've followed me since the beginning  you know all about my big kitchen remodel, that was planned for this year, but my dreams were halted when our furnace died.  I have an older looking kitchen and  besides the fact it's so small for our family it's just plain outdated in look. I have 1940's counter tops  and a cast iron sink that has seen better days. Just look at my counter tops:

You can't tell from this picture but they were while with gold flecks in them.

we did the bathroom counter to but I didn't take any pics.

we washed the counters really well and then rinsed them off, which is first.

then we taped all the woodwork off and applied the  black Primer which is Step 1

I choose the Black Bombay color so my primer was black no idea what color the other kits have.

After letting that dry for 8 full hours, which ended just before dinner  which was pizza since I had no counters

we started the sponge process with each of the 3 colors and what we found helpful was when each color was finished to rinse out the sponge and re dab what we just did. After applying the last color we then sponged the whole thing with the clean sponge, I really love the textured look this gave.

we waited the 4 hours for that to dry,and right before bed, we rolled the final step, which is the clear top coat.

It really is so much prettier in person. I love how easy it was and how much of a difference happened in 1 day.
