What a neat idea, to show children what germs look like and allow them to even play with them.
I have found the when trying to teach young children about things that may bore them it's much easier to do with hands on items. My children are young enough that I teaching them hand washing is very important but trying to explain to a 2 and 4 year old isn't easy, and telling them that if they don't they will get sick because germs live on their hands, but of course L is very picky about if she can't see it, then it's not there.
It was fun to get to show the kids what the common cold looked like, and explaining to them, that there can be hundreds of them that live on many surfaces and that is why it was so important to wash their little hands after touching things, coughing, and sneezing.
H had both the flu and H1N1last year, and it was a nice to be able to explain to her what the germs looked like. There are a few more I would love to be able to teach the kids about all the many different common illnesses.
Giant Microbes have many different fun toys
Each of the 10 Vinyl figures comes in it's own box, and each one comes with an animated flip book, and pose sticker.
These could make great bath toys, but since they have removable arms and possibly other pieces I would not recommend these for under 3.
Come in many, different kinds,

Exotics
Calamities

Aquatics
