Jake and the Never Land Pirates Holiday episode to premier on December 2nd.

Although it was only launched in February, Disney Juniors newer show Jake and the Never Land Pirates continues to grow rapidly and break all previous records for Disney Channel's preschool programming. With the every growing popularity Disney Junior has decided to expand to a brand new stand alone channel for Disney junior programming 24 hours a day to me this is great, I can not tell you how upset Ms.L and Mr.Z were when they realized they would miss Jake every morning because Ms. H and Ms.L had to get ready for school at the same time it aired.   This 24 hour channel will allow us moms to turn on Disney Junior shows while we make dinner to settle the kids down, I know this will help me a ton when I'm trying to clean up dinner and I just want the kids to wind down from the day.

For those of you who are not familiar with this awesome show here is a little about it:
Jake and the Never Land pirates introduce youngsters to a crew of children pirates that follow Never Land adventures as work to outwit two infamous characters Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. Along the way they work they model teamwork, problem-solving and physical activity, they earn gold doubloons  as they conquer a variety of tasks. I am very fond of this show and think that even the songs sung are catchy and enjoyable to listen to.

My kids love Disney Junior, and I love it for the fact it gives my children wholesome shows that really allow them to use their imaginations later on. Jake and the Never land Pirates  is one of the morning shows that Ms. L and Mr.Z love. She will spend part of an afternoon acting out event of episodes she has seen. I am thrilled to be able to share with you the fact that starting December 2nd 2011 Disney Junior will air a holiday episode of Jake and the Never Land Pirates.

The holiday episode will air Friday December 2nd, at 8:30-9:00 am ET/PT on the Disney Channel.
A little about the episode:
A Winter Never Land/ Hook on Ice
Jake,Izzy, and Cubby awake to find that peter pan has left the crew some presents and a tree to celebrate Winter treasure day, and Captain Hook invites Jake and the crew on a winter treasure hunt.

In my household we love Jake and all of the problem he solves. My 16 month old will literally stop what ever she is doing to dance to the songs.
