101 offline activities you can do with your kids Review and Giveaway

Here’s a brief time out that EVERYONE in your family will enjoy: disconnect from the Net, put away your digital toys, and get ready for some good old-fashioned fun.  Even 20 minutes a day can be rejuvenating for you and a great way to connect with your children. In 101 Offline Activities You Can Do With Your Child, you’ll find activities that tap the most advanced computer of all time—the one between the ears.  Best of all, you can do most of the activities with little or no preparation!

I sometimes feel like I spend to much time online and not enough doing stuff with my kids, I was thrilled to be able to review this book. It's full of ideas that get you away from your computer for even a little while. I like that is offers different categories such as...
Arts & Crafts
Fantasy Play
Games
Get 'em Moving
In the Kitchen
Imagine This
Math and Number
Older Kids Play
On The Road
Toymaking
While We're waiting
Word Games
Younger Kids At Play
Your Time Only

to be honest we have been so busy I just finished this book last week, I really wish I would have read it sooner, might have greatly helped me, when I spent 12 hours straight in the car with my 3 darling children, from Michigan to New York, and 12 more hours from New York to Michigan. Plus the ideas are very creative, and inventive. Each activity also lists what you will need, weather it be materials for crafts or just simply your time.

I would say it's defiantly worth the read and maybe something to keep  around for a reference guide in case you forget and need ideas.
