I am not at all in the best shape of my life, and consider myself to be over weight. I am 5'5 and weight more then 150. I have done or at least tried other DVD workouts such as Hip Hop Abs, and although I did lose weight not very fast at all, and it got old quick because of the same workouts. I have attempted the 30 day shred but I am far to out of shape for it. When I received Get Extremely Ripped , I couldn't wait to give it a try, I am determined to lose all my " baby weight" before out vacation next year to Florida. I am 27 years old and although I know I have come along way already in my weight loss journey, I am not happy with the way I look.
My goal is be to 130 lbs and a 7/8 if I can get to be smaller great but that is my target. I do have a long way to go, but I have also lost 60 lbs to date on my own. I do find that Get Extremely Ripped was really hard to follow right off the bat, and that I needed to watch it at least once before trying the exercises. It really does give you a burn, and I know that means it is working, but would have liked it to be a little slower paced in the beginning. It really wasn't something that could hold my focus and after a week I gave up. I am not proud of this fact but it's true.
With the crazy life I have right now, I stay super busy, and although that is not a great excuse, it truly is why I gave up on this, I am sure it will be a great DVD for someone in better shape.
