I started my “leaking” as an adolescent – I was constantly asking my girlfriends to do the “check” when we were out in public. How many of us have had to tie the old sweater around our waist!! How does it work you might ask:
The panties themselves feel a lot like swim material, just a little thinner. I did find at first wearing them, was a little uncomfortable because of the increased lining, but after a few minutes I got used to it, and had no problems after that. I find them super comfortable and they don't ride up, slide down, or bunch up...which is a great plus for me. I love that they offer so many styles, and although after looking at them, it seems like the backing to the leakage protection is alot like the back of a regular maxi pad, but stronger.
I love that you can wash them, instead of throwing something else into the landfill.It really is a good idea, and although I don't have a leakage problem, because of how big my son was, I did tear something that gave me leakage issues for a while, and I do wonder is I will have issues later in life because of it.
