Like most kids, in the younger years, L and Z are both rather shy of the dark. I have been struggling for months to get Z to keep the plug in ones , where they are supposed to be in the outlets. Another problem we have had is that H and L share a room, and the way the outlets are, any night light is always blocked by a bed, or and dresser. Kinderglo has saved the day. We chose to receive the Adorable Hippo
I am please' to tell you that, I was expecting a little Night light, and was shocked when our hippo came being a very good size, of 51/4 inches tall. Big enough I don't have to worry about Z playing with it, since although I watch him,our Kinderglo doesn't have any loose pieces.
I think mine as well as the kids favorite part of the Kinderglo night light is the color change setting. it switches to all the colors above, the hippo will also stay on red,green, or blue ,and it's as easy as a push of a button. Z at only 2 years old has figured it out.
The Kinderglo night lights also come with a recharging base, which takes up very little room and comes with a 6 foot cord.
Not a fan of the hippo, that's ok, there are 7 other designs:

They are so cute, it sure was a hard choice on which one we wanted
