Crayola Back To School Spark

Crayola is a company I have known about for years. They make so many great things, crayons, markers, Color wonder markers, and even some of our favorite building items called jumbles. We recently got to try out some very awesome products from Crayola that my kids had a blast with.

Crayola Bright Fabric Markers

Crystal Effects Window Markers

These are awesome! Ms.L and Ms.H had a blast  drawing on the kitchen windows, they make really cool designs . These markers actually got my husband to put down a video game controller and draw with them. I just wish I had my camera working at the time.

Crayola Window Mega Markers

These markers didn't get the use they would have because our school colors are Blue and Yellow, my favorite sports team is blue and gold , and my husband's is green and white.  They do write great and they are wide enough ti color is large areas fast. I just wish they came with my color choices.

Wild Notes Index Cards

Even I love using these, they are very neat. When you write anything on these note cards with the special pen, it shows up in different colors , sort of like a rainbow. I use these in many things, if I want to write a note to Ms. H  and slid it in her backpack telling her to have a great day or good luck on an important test.

Wild Notes Sticky Notes

These are great to make a fun reminder message to myself or to leave a message on ms. H's bed that a friend called or I

even used them to mark birthdays on the calendar these little sticky notes fit great on textbook pages, planners to tell a teacher to call you, or that your child will be leaving early and could she please send along the work that will be missed.

Wild Notes 1 Subject Notebook

This was taken over the moment it came by Ms.L for her " journal". To a 5 year old it's a great place to express herself.  My to by a couple more for me to use.She uses pictures and words she is learning. Admittedly I would have to say if I had this when I was in school I might have practices way more on all my subjects.

Dual-Sided Dry-Erase Board

The dual sided dry erase board fell into the hands of Mr,Z  right away he began to learn how it works. He loves the fact he can write on either side and if he " messes up" as he calls it or his sisters but in he has the option to just wipe it off and start again. This is the best item for little ones. I have been working on teaching him his letters and numbers and this has saved us so much paper.

Want the chance to try out some of these great products

PLAYMOBIL Take Along Soccer Match Review and Giveaway

Playmobil is a brand I had heard of before but had no idea how great their toys really were. Thanks to Playmobil and my blog spark my kids and I got the chance to try out a great toy.  The Take along Soccer match.

This toy allows my husband to play with all my kids. It also allows my kids to play soccer even when it's raining.

Over the last couple weeks Ms. H,Ms.L and even Mr.Z have had it out and been playing with it often. It still looks great no wear and tear. Assembly is quick and super easy to. I can say this is a lot bigger then I expected it to be at 84 x 56 x 10cm (LxWxH) it means you can fit 9,5 and 3 year olds around it without fighting. This set also folds up with everything inside to travel or put away. I love the fact I can slide it between a couch and the wall when it's not being played with and it's out of the way.

In my house this is a very well played with item, and because it actually keeps my 3.5 year old busy for an hour or more sometimes. the rules are easy to master. The only problem I have found at all is that if you don't attach the bottom on right when you fold it up, the pieces dump back out and you have to pick them up again, or in my case chase the cat for the soccer ball. I can tell you with out a doubt that this is a great toy and a perfect idea if your kids are in to sports and you travel or even just for fun around the house.

A few things about this set:

"Perfect for summer travel, this compactable and travel-ready Take Along Soccer Match includes a 22 x 33 inch field, soccer ball and other accessories.

To further enhance the soccer experience, the figures have a leg that kicks to propel the ball forward, which helps make playtime more realistic.

There are also goalie figures that connect to goal joystick, which allows kids to control the goalies’ movements from behind the goal net.

The PLAYMOBIL Take Along Soccer Match is ideal for kids ages five to ten; because of small parts it is not recommended for little ones under the age of three."

Playmobil has offered one lucky reader a Take Along soccer match of their own.

A bit about the movie:

One wild and windy night, the Gruffalo's Child ignores her father's warnings and bravely tiptoes out into the snow into the deep, dark wood in search of the "Big Bad Mouse."  Along the way, she meets Snake, Owl and Fox but no sign of the fabled Mouse.  Described by her father as "terribly big" and "terribly bad," the mouse proves to be terribly hard to find.  Does he exist or doesn't he?  This beautifully animated film based on the best-selling children's picture book by author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler, The Gruffalo's Child is a companion film to the hugely successful, academy award nominated, The Gruffalo.  Directed by Johannes Weiland & Uwe Heidschötter with an all star English cast that includes Helena Bonham Carter, Rob Brydon, Robbie Coltrane, James Corden, Shirley Henderson, John Hurt and Tom Wilkinson.
