As part of making sure that the content is age appropriate, we've asked an expert, Dr. Donna Mitroff, to talk with you about our movies each month. Check out Dr. Donna’s reviews for additional information about the plot, the level of action and the types of humor in the movie, as well as some thought-provoking discussion points for the whole family.

Young trainees will learn to ride the rails of life alongside their Chuggington pals in this upbeat and fun episodic feature.

PLAYMOBIL Take Along Soccer Match Review and Giveaway

Playmobil is a brand I had heard of before but had no idea how great their toys really were. Thanks to Playmobil and my blog spark my kids and I got the chance to try out a great toy.  The Take along Soccer match.

This toy allows my husband to play with all my kids. It also allows my kids to play soccer even when it's raining.

Over the last couple weeks Ms. H,Ms.L and even Mr.Z have had it out and been playing with it often. It still looks great no wear and tear. Assembly is quick and super easy to. I can say this is a lot bigger then I expected it to be at 84 x 56 x 10cm (LxWxH) it means you can fit 9,5 and 3 year olds around it without fighting. This set also folds up with everything inside to travel or put away. I love the fact I can slide it between a couch and the wall when it's not being played with and it's out of the way.

In my house this is a very well played with item, and because it actually keeps my 3.5 year old busy for an hour or more sometimes. the rules are easy to master. The only problem I have found at all is that if you don't attach the bottom on right when you fold it up, the pieces dump back out and you have to pick them up again, or in my case chase the cat for the soccer ball. I can tell you with out a doubt that this is a great toy and a perfect idea if your kids are in to sports and you travel or even just for fun around the house.

A bit about the movie:

One wild and windy night, the Gruffalo's Child ignores her father's warnings and bravely tiptoes out into the snow into the deep, dark wood in search of the "Big Bad Mouse."  Along the way, she meets Snake, Owl and Fox but no sign of the fabled Mouse.  Described by her father as "terribly big" and "terribly bad," the mouse proves to be terribly hard to find.  Does he exist or doesn't he?  This beautifully animated film based on the best-selling children's picture book by author Julia Donaldson and illustrator Axel Scheffler, The Gruffalo's Child is a companion film to the hugely successful, academy award nominated, The Gruffalo.  Directed by Johannes Weiland & Uwe Heidschötter with an all star English cast that includes Helena Bonham Carter, Rob Brydon, Robbie Coltrane, James Corden, Shirley Henderson, John Hurt and Tom Wilkinson.

Ghoul Fools
SpongeBob and Patrick find a houseboat haunted by a crew of ghost pirates and get caught in the feud between them and the Flying Dutchman.

The Curse of Bikini Bottom
SpongeBob and Patrick sneak into Squidward's shed and find his lawn mower. When Squidward discovers them, he pulls the cord and sends SpongeBob and Patrick riding out of control. SpongeBob and Patrick end up running over the Flying Dutchman’s grave in the cemetary while he is trying to pick out a shirt for his date. Angering the Flying Dutchman further, SpongeBob and Patrick manage to shave off his beard with the lawn mower. SpongeBob explains they don't know what it's like to be a ghost and the Dutchman turns them into ghosts.

Ghost Host
The Flying Dutchman takes up residence at SpongeBob’s house where he proceeds to scare, startle and surprise SpongeBob around the clock. Eventually, SpongeBob becomes no longer afraid and creates a panic for the old ghost.  In the end, SpongeBob decides to lend a hand and help the Flying Dutchman learn to scare people again.

Born Again Krabs
When Mr. Krabs becomes cheap, the Flying Dutchman tells him to stop or else he visits Davy Jones' locker forever!

Arrgh!
SpongeBob and Patrick convince Mr. Krabs to join in a friendly board game of “Treasure Hunt.”  The pretend search for gold proves too alluring for Mr. Krabs and he convinces the two lads to join him on a real treasure hunt. 

Your Shoe’s Untied
Patrick gets a new pair of shoes, but doesn’t know how to tie his laces. When SpongeBob offers to demonstrate lace tying to Patrick, he suffers various calamities. In the end, it’s Gary who reminds SpongeBob how to tie his laces by teaching him a groovy song to help him remember.

Money Talks
Mr. Krabs makes a wish that he could talk to money.  When his wish is magically granted, Krabs learns what all of his dollars, pennies and quarters have been longing for – Krabs to spend them.

Ghost Band

The Fresh Beats run into a ghost band when they get a gig in a western town.  They face-off against the ghosts in a musical showdown and discover that the ghosts are misunderstood.  So they work together to bring people back to the town.

Chimps in Charge

The Fresh Beats help their friend Harper babysit a pair of chimps who are a lot to handle.  Marina gets the idea to build a jungle gym for the chimps in the park and the Fresh Beats find a perfect song to rock their show.

Dora and Boots are practicing for the Fantastic Gymnastics Show when Dora gets a special delivery – a beautiful rainbow ribbon.  This means Dora gets to start the Big Gymnastics Show with her ribbon dance!  But Swiper comes in and steals the ribbon soDora and Boots set out on an adventure to get the ribbon back in time for the show.

A Ribbon for Pinto
Pinto is really excited about the Big Horse Show and he’d like to win his very first blue prize ribbon.  Dora, Boots, and Pinto are taking a train to the show, but the train breaks down and they worry they won’t be able to make it!  

Swiper’s Favorite Things
Swiper is packing all of his favorite things for a sleepover at his Grandma’s House -- his pajama trunk, his favorite puppy book, and his very special funny bunny.  Just as he is about to leave, a big wind gust comes in and blows everything away! Dora and Swiper journey to Crocodile Lake, through the Jumbled Trees, and race to Strawberry Hill to get Swiper’s favorite things back.
